    @Newton - General rule of thumb is about 87% from my experience. Which would explain why the site uses that figure as well.

    Oh.. The 108" length on mine is raw material. I think it has a finished length of right about 104", which would make my 87% length ridgeline be 90.48" which the site displays as 90"

    My best advise is to try it. sounds like a fun way to use up a weekend and it might become a cool camping buggy. ( this idea has been rattling around my brain also )
