So what are your experiences with noseeum? Have you ever torn it? How much more delicate would you say the lighter .7 noseeum is?

IMO noseeum is plenty robust for hiking/camping. I've seen no discernible difference between between the normal 1.0 oz/sy and OWFinc.com 0.7 oz/sy.
Now I have seen a difference in www.thru-hike.com 0.7 oz/sy noseeum: it is very stretchy too.
This coming from a guy that used a tulle bugnet for 3years before it wore out.

Is the stretch good in your opinion? I imagine it might prevent some tears.
Dutch just added some 0.7 to his website, any idea on how to tell if there's stretch?
All netting has more stretch than solid fabrics. That's just the nature of the beast. I view stretch as a bad thing. It will drive you nuts while sewing it. If you sew a piece of netting to a solid nylon without pinning it every few inches, you will end up with a bunch of netting left to go, when you get to the end of the nylon.
All my gear is lightweight and has been for years, so I am in the habit of not abusing my gear. On the other hand, I didn't baby my tulle net.

I actually made two of them in tulle. One was a TED style and the other a Fronkey style. Both worked but I preferred the Fronkey one and used it. They were originally to be a prototype to see how I liked them before making a more durable one. Three years went by before I got around to it.
By the way, I used JoAnn's Fashion Tulle.
