Hey all u folks who have been here prior, how is the water situation, my assumption is you could practically squeeze moss on trees for all your water, but would appreciate knowing what the area we are hiking through and what the area we are staying is like first hand.

    Looking forward to seeing y'all!

There's no water until you get to the creek (~3 miles), which is where we're camping.

Same as Washington state. This time of year, there is water at Drift Creek, but probably not on the trail. 1/2 a water bottle or Platty will get you from the trailhead to the creek. Not really a big concern.

    Attendees List For Sanctuary Tour/Raffle

OK....here is my list so far of attendees for the sanctuary tour tomorrow:

    Confirmed and PAID FOR:
    Bigfoot2
    Rip Waverly
    5Archer
    DeDominick
    Creative Kayte
    DFab
    5th
    Roger (plus one)
    Insaniac99 (plus one)
    Oregon
    Jackleberry
    BiCoastalconundrum
    SMJerry
    Slugbait

Confirmed but PAYING AT THE SANCTUARY:
Nuttysquirel and family (one adult, three kids)
    ChacMool
    Northfork9

So, help me out here, I have a total of 16 confirmed and paid for spots and 6 confirmed, but unpaid for spots, for a grand total of 22 people for the tour on Friday. Remember, even if you are not going on the tour on Friday, it really helps us out if you pre-pay for the raffle donation IN ADVANCE! I know there are several people that are coming in on Saturday who have not paid yet but want to participate in the raffle. That's fine, but it's much easier to pre-pay.

Send the $30.00 sanctuary tour/donation/raffle ticket money via Paypal friends/family, to:

    [email protected]

This will guarantee our reduced prices for the sanctuary tour (even if you are not going to make it) and will buy you one ticket for the raffle.

Please let me know immediately if i've missed you or you need more info.

Oh, yeah....as the "organizer" of this little swaray, it's a state law that I get to pick my hang spot first. Sorry, guys. It's a law!

On a serious note, who wants to carry in the raffle prizes for me? It's not too heavy, about 11 pounds and in a medium sized duffel bag, but it's only been 8 months since my reconstructive knee surgery and i'd hate to fall on it and crush all the alcohol stoves Zelph and Tato Gear donated
Also, anyone want to join me for dinner in Waldport after the Sanctuary tour and before the hike in? I have to pick up my dog at the Alsea Kennels there and that's one less meal we'd have to pack in.

I need the address for the printers and other contact info. I will be leaving VERY early in the morning tomorrow so tonight would be best, the earlier the better.

Bigfoot: I would be interested but I need to know for budget reasons what price range and then decide if I will pay for the kid or ask the parents or just skip it, you understand.

I might be able to help with the prizes, but I can't commit yet.

    I can carry the duffel.

BTW, is this the gas station we are meeting at? I can't find a fire station...
