Seller's remorse has never been a problem but loaning out gear to takers has been. I knew better so it is my fault.

I've never sold any gear - I'm a gear hoarder.

Sometimes I regret selling gear because then I have nothing to compare the new gear to except my memory. I need to start keeping notes on pros and cons of gear pieces.

I sold a lot of gear when I was younger that was passed down to me. It was before I was "in to" the outdoors and stuff. I think about those things a lot and wish I could get it back.

    Sentimental things, man.

In the long run, no. I keep evolving my gear to work with where I spend my time out. The Northern Rockies can provide some challenges to stay warm & dry. Some of my gear just won't work for folks who deal with heat, humidity and mozzies.

If I Stake out all the the loops running around the edge, that's 8 and the panel pulls makes 4 more so 8+4=12. I try to tie off to trees and brush as mush as possible but I usually end up staking the 4 corner and tying the doors shut by attaching the door onto the stake opposite to it. I can usually find trees for the panel pulls, so I mostly use just 4 stakes too.

I sold my Ipod to a friend, and missed it...Haha! But, that doesn't go along with the hammock forum at all. So I'll just say this, think about what you are selling, is it really worth selling, or are you going to miss it as soon as you get your money? If you are selling it to get something else, you might want to re-consider what's so special about this new item, and if you really need to buy it.

Have thought many times about selling my OES spinn tarp. Have hardly ever used it but feel i would miss it.
