Looks like I'm confirmed for this trip. My Long trail trip won't start until the 1st or 2nd. I'm looking forward to spending a week in the woods.

I'm thinking of changing my tarp suspension, using some Dutch Bling. Maybe you or Tim could coach me a little there.

I'm really excited about this hang guys. I just got my DangerBird in the mail yesterday and spent the night in at home, can't wait to get it out in the wild!

It's getting to be a big group! Is there a reason why we shouldn't call this the NEHHA Summer Hang? I noticed that we've had Fall, Winter, and Spring NEHHA hangs, but so far no official Summer hang. Purely out of curiosity.

Hi Chaaaz. Can do, I'll be sporting a new setup also. Bridge with AHE underquilt and I'm playing with a new tarp suspension using some Dutch goodness.

For a cheap throw in every toolbox flashlight try this one-

===> GREAT! Whose Bridge hammock, or is it a DIY? The baby Cree has been in my sights as well. Hope I can find my Tarp Flyz and other DG envelope!

===> Good question! Summer hangs have been more impromptu in the past, with smaller groups. We have better communication now, more new hangers, an active group of old hangers, and more found hang sites, so NEHHA is growing quickly! Not to mention a great bunch-o-folks! The hangs are getting better organized, and the feasts are now legendary.

Maybe a June or July outing should become the "official" NEHHA Summer Hang!

What say you, Pres?

I think this hang is going to be more like a block party. We dont have an auction, events or planned community dinner scheduled.

===> Yup. Like I mentioned, less formal, more impromptu. Still boatloads of fun! Can't wait!

( I should have two good eyes by then, too! Second eye surgery is on the 12th )

I think we try some Bow Drill fire starting practice at this hang.
