Shelf-side reinforcement problem?

i don't think it was the 2 people, it looks like it just got stitched a little too close to the raw edge of the patch. sorry about that, should be a quick fix though, email me.

The seam is fine it's just the black patch tearing out of it..

Only user error i can imagine was when an insufficient knot let me slowly to ground level when checking it's 2person potential (second person wasn't heavier than me though and it was a slow decent not a crash..

I don't know if this will apply to your BB, but a few months back Brandon had a recall for some reinforcements he needed to add somewhere near the shelf area. I never sent mine back yet, and have had no problems. (210 lbs). But I am super careful to keep any weight away from the shelf, except possibly when using as a chair and leaning back on it.
