    Integrated bugnet on wide Hammock?

Is it possible? When I lie in the hammock, the sides often wrap around me completely, which would make the net 2-3 inches wide. And it seems almost sinful to make a fronkey/TED if that's all the netting I would need to integrate it.

Although if someone wider than me lies in it, or I lie more on a diagonal, the netting would need to be wider.

What solutions have people here come up with?

what you could do is to make the bugnet in a diamond shape....using the ridge line as the top edge, and attach the bugnet to the hammock edging...this is most similar to the Hennessey Hammock...another is similar to the Skeeter Beeter UL hammock, which provides more space in case one wishes to lay on more diagonal...... the hard part though is to get the zipper where you want it to be, and not have it snag on anything else.....a fronkey would be easier to use, and enable you to change hammocks if needed.

I put an integrated bugnet on a hammock that started with a 12' long by 72" wide piece of ripstop. It has a SRL and two tie out points (these make a difference). The standard width noseeum netting fit great with no problems. I pulled the hammock out tight end to end and with the side pullouts and then pinned the netting to the zipper I had already sewn on. It used less than 3 yards of netting.
