    Question on KAQ UQ

    **UPDATED****

I am now at the step for "quilting". It calls for quilting yarn. I have heard of quilting thread and knitting yarn, but not quilting yarn. Is this a combo of both of these or more of one that the other?

So excited to be almost done with this project!

    Thanks in advance.

You will end up with something similar to the following photo used to control adjustments to the shock cords across the ends of the quilt (used to help seal the UQ to the hammock) and the shock cords running through the long sides (used to position the UQ).

Ahhh, okay , I see. Did you have two separate pieces of ribbon or is that one continuous piece with both cord locks on it? Thank you for the pic!

Where did you find these instructions? Do they come with drawings? I am researching DIY UQ's and trying to decide which to make. Thanks.

I cannot recall how I found the tutorial, and it is impossible to find online. I saved the PDF on my computer, let me see if there is a way to get it to you.

So, did you quilt the KAQ? I have FINALLY finished sewing the edges of my square, not ptomack KAQ, or could we say possibly new river quilt? I am wondering, also , how many layers of the climashield you used? Of course, my climashield was purchased three years ago, and I redid the project just this last year...so I do not remember just which version of climashield I have. THanks for your answers.
