Very nice. Was it real slippery, hard to work with?

Great looking tarp Aboyd. You gonna bring it to Cheaha? I'd love to get a look at it. Haven't seen an argon tarp before.

If you have never worked with sil before, practice some..it can be a challenge. Not terrible, but patience is a good thing.

I did not think it was much worse that regular sil to deal with. I wish I had taken a little more time on the corners, but I think it will be fine. I am sure I will do another one one day.

I will be bringing it for sure. If I can get the ridgeline sealed tonight, I may give her a test run this weekend. The Argon is nice, not as light as cuban, but I think it packs just as small.

My Argon Silnylon is out for delivery today to my home.

I have made tarps before but this will be my first using the Argon.

When working with silnylon I find it very helpful to keep the layers of material taut as you let the sewing machine feed dogs advance the fabric underneath the presser foot. It takes a little getting used to the process. You don't want to pull the material through faster than the machine is feeding it.

I dislike using pins but they sometimes have their place and can help quite a bit.

Funny you said that: I was thinking the same thing. I like his place too.

Great looking tarp Ashley. After working with this material, I think that's probably the best way to hang it.

Are we talking about the house or the tarp?

I recently finished my first tarp and will post pics later. It is poly coated nylon. Thx for the info. This material or Cuban May be my next tarp.
