Osprey Aether 60 for Big Man

My wife purchased an Osprey Aether 60 for me for Christmas. I JUST got to use it for the first time last weekend. Unfortunately we goofed on the size. Even at the shortest setting, the shoulder straps hit me about mid neck… Very disappointed because I LOVE this pack. This is a Large pack with an XL harness and an XL hip belt.
The pack has only been used this past weekend for a two night campout – the Hoosier Hang to be specific. It has never seen rain or mud and is basically brand new condition without the tags.

I am trying to recoup as much of the original price of the pack while still making it an attractive price since I am just going to turn around and re-buy the exact same pack in a different size.

So, price is $225.00 shipped to the lower 48. Paypal only.

    I have included specs.

Thank you for looking – first “I’ll take it” gets it per forum rules.

    Best regards,
    Dan

(Biners not included! Unless it's a deal breaker. LOL)

I believe it will - I have a 40 inch waist and when tightened the straps hang very long. BUT to be sure you could call Osprey customer service at 866-284-7830. My wife is measuring it now too.

OK - I talked to Monica at Osprey - they say the belt is for up to 45" or so. BUT she said they do offer belt extenders for $7.00 All you have to do is call their customer service number and ask about them. She was very helpful!!

If you have an REI nearby stop and check it out for size. I looked at them before making a decision, they "seem" bigger than 60 to me. But the 80 is cavernous, ridiculous actually.

It likely is. I've carried 10 days of food in mine plus gear a couple times.

Also, this is a LARGE pack. Quite a difference from the small and medium volume-wise. So it really = about 63 liters if you convert cu in to liters. :-)

    Small: 3478 cu in
    Medium: 3661 cu in
    Large: 3844 cu in
