    snapped whoopie sling

    hey everyone

i just recently purchased a dd front line hammock and a set of whoopie slings and have not used it yet. I'm amazed at the strength of this stuff for the size and was wondering if anyone ever had a failure of one before.

    thanks

Thousands and Thousands for hammock users are hanging on whoopies...I know, we have sold close to 5000 of them....and no one has yet reported any failure that I have heard of.

Move on to other things to worry about:

    1) What if I have to go to ground?
    2) Perimeter security measures for your campsite.
    3) Backcountry lightning risk management.
    4) Avoiding meteor strikes in the hammock.

I clicked on this thread thinking how on earth could you have snapped a whoopie. Crazy strong that stuff.

I thought we were going to read a thread about a 500# hanger using a 3 layer hammock who had a bear sit on him....then when the whoopie the bear ran away scared by the noise the 500# hanger made when he cushioned the bears fall.
