    Net Fraying?

Do bug nets fray? How does one prevent this? Would it suffice to fold it over and hem once? twice?

    (Specifically Noseeum)

The bug net i used, surplus military seems to be all the strands are pretty much attached so i don't think it will fray. I folded mine over one time and sewed. I also used some grosgrain on one but on my next one will just fold and sew. It seems like a very fragile sew job but seems to hold up so far.

Does anyone have any knowledge about fraying with noseeum (both weights)?

Double? A rolled hem of noseeum, or do you attach ripstop or something to the edges?

Oh no, I added that after your post (cause I'm sneaky like that). The info you provided is still useful to know.

A rolled hem is folding the fabric (netting) over twice and stitching. It does not imply attaching another material.

A rolled hem in noseeum will be adequate to prevent any raveling and will provide a nice finished edge.

Looked at the info on the ballpoint needles and the fabrics range from knits to denim with taffeta, spandex and a bunch more. I saw youtube for making diy uq with ripstop and they recommended the ball points. Have been using them for ripstop, taffeta, mosquito net and straps. So far no problems.
