    Code sending a hello.

    Hey all,
I started to get into hanging last year, been a long time hiker, backpacker, camper. The move from ground to the trees was quite fun, and I was finally able to do so as i had moved back the east, as my normal areas out west made hanging a bit tricky.
I enjoy outdoors, cycling, brewing beer, and restoring old straight razors. Moved to Philadelphia, and little frustrated with the lack of places to go out for a quick weekend outing but i'm sure i'll find some places as time goes by. I almost had a heart attack when i learned that you needed to pay over 3 bucks a night for a camping spot. Not something i was used to but I'm sure theres places to do that are hidden gems. I have been lurking on the forms for the past year and decided to post up a hello to you all.

Welcome to the forums from hot and humid Guam.

My forum name is Fish<><; I'm in the navy; and I hate sleeping on the ground. If I didn't need ground to walk on or measure resistance to, I think I could happily give it up.

Welcome form central Jersey. If you can make it, MAHHA is next week. You'll get to see all kinds of hammock goodies.

I would love to make it out but unfortunately I have a huge client project next weekend. I hope you all have a blast though!

Welcome aircoder from Queensland Australia. I share your surprise at government camping fees. Try $5 per person per night with a reluctance to permit wilderness through walking.
