    Duct tape for tarp

    My sewing machine isnt working and i had to finish the tarp im making tonight (or carry 6 lbs of tarp) so instead of sewing my pieces of nylon and taped them any thoughts? Ill tell you how it goes. oh and by the way the tarp is disined after grey beards nonatarp from the pentarp thread

    Should be entertaining to hear how it goes. Quite a bit heavier than thread, but they don't call in 100 mph tape for nothin!

    Gorilla tape is even stronger. My dad has a horse that had a special temporary shoe attachment he had to wear for a while. The horse kept throwing it, and my dad first tried duct tape. It didn't last that long, then he tried Gorilla tape. It's some pretty tough stuff. It lasted longer by far with a horse determined to get it off. It's duct tape on steroids.
