Here is a link for the Rockford camp out. If anyone wants to come out your invited. We will be canoeing or kayaking Saturday with a pot luck in the afternoon.

rookiehanger has beautiful private park with lots of trees. if you can make it out there, you should...it is a great time!
Unfortunately I am committed elsewhere ... otherwise I would be there...with my dutch oven!!

seriously...if you want something to do this weekend, take the drive up 55 (and 39) to rookiehanger's place...looks like about 20 or so folks will be eating, drinking, camping, canoeing, etc...it looks like there will be several extra spots for a paddler...

The other is most likely going to be on 5/10/14 and will be at a campground between the I&M canal and the Illinois River just down stream of Channahon start park.
