Little off topic but the sentiment is the same. Last Friday I had an appointment with a local company in my small town to have my septic tank pumped. Friday around 10am the phone rang and the gentleman said I'm his brother in law running a little late but I'll be there around noon. 11:50 he pulls in with his pump truck. I ask him where the owner was and was informed he had a heart attack early that morning and was being flown to Morgantown to have surgery. He had his wife call this morning to have me call you to say we would be late and he was going to need me to work his business for a few weeks. I told him this is a routine matter and if he needed to reschedule by all means family first. He said no this is how we do business. Last septic company I'm ever going to need to call. I thought to myself it's rare I see this level of commitment. I'm glad to see Brandon with such a high level of customer service so happy I decided to purchase his products. My wbxlc and super fly arrived yesterday. Impeccable work. Thank you

I must say after sewing up 15 hammocks of my own you learn how to do it the right way. I have a superfly from him and has been flawless and I reviewed every stitch on it right out of the box. It was good for me and impressed and learned new techniques for my own stitching. He is a top notch guy running a quality shop.

It has to be difficult being a cottage industry manufacturer; lots of very special orders, lots of hours and probably not a lot of profits. Everyone can have bad days; the proof of the pudding will come when you see how he responds.
    Best of luck.

This is the first time I've heard of one of Brandon's tarps tearing. I've had no problems with mine.

I am really curious to know how you are tensioning it. Is it connected to your Hammock suspension somehow (like a Hennessey perhaps)?

Was it left unsupervised and used as a slingshot by some neighbor kids? A dog?

    Weird!

Oh, and brilliant idea adding shock cord. I'm actually going to try adding a length of self-tensioning line (a la JRB STL) to one of my top lines. I figure a person would only need one end.

Well I personally can't wait for you to publicly report your private commercial transactions with other vendors - since I see you have things on order!

Sorry, but the policy is generally not to delete threads that do not violate HF rules. I will close it and see if I can get by with that.
