RI>Anyone ever thru-hike the North South Trail in RI?

I would like to try this, but the "actual" camping locations are either nil or way off the beaten path. Has anyone ever accomplished this trek by stealth hanging?

I've been doing some research on primitive camping/ backpacking in RI. Can you give me an idea of where this trail runs?

To be honest, you should consider something in MA. I can't think of a spot along that trail where you don't hear traffic from a nearby road and that is bothersome.

This runs from South County, Charlestown Beach all the way up to MA through the western part of RI. It has some nice stretches and then some that are along roads.......

I am going to start with a two nighted since this will be my first backpacking experience. Transitioning out of car camping and day hiking to backpacking......
