    Dual purpose bug net/snake skin

So I had the bright idea this morning of a bug net / snake skin. But I need some input before I go ahead and try to make it. Ok, so the thought is that it would cinch down on both ends, using some lightweight rope, like the dyneema guyline stuff. You cinch it down on one side, after you set it up, get in, and pull it over your hammock like a sock, then cinch it on the side above your head. in the morning, you un cinch it slip it down. When you go to pack up, all you need to do is stretch it out over your hammock (pull the cinches away on both ends), and stuff it in into the sack.

It sounds pretty doable in my head, but do you guys see anything really wrong, or problems that I need to think about before I start on this?

As for my setup, it's your standard DIY gathered end with an adjustable fixed ridgeline (oxymoron, i know ) it uses a prussik knot to adjust, so I can loosen it to pack it away, but tighten it to my sleeping needs each night.

The original thought is that the bug net will go over the ridgeline to keep it off my face.

Am I on the right track or am I missing something?

Sounds like a decent plan. I think some might say that, technically, snakeskins are slimmer so as to serves the purpose of compressing the size of he packed hammock/tarp. I say, if it works to your liking, then go for it. I have found that 1/8" shock cord and cord locks work great for cinching bug net ends.
