I've been sleeping in a HH Explorer Deluxe as I occasionally backpack. Additionally, I've slept in it a few times in the back yard. Recently, I've "made" a hammock with a 132"x60" crinkle taffeta table cloth. I just gathered the ends together and cinched them with whoopie slings. I've sleep in this hammock nightly indoors for about a week. I have the whoopie slings attached to tie-down hook with a carabiner.
I think I find the table cloth to be not as comfortable as my HH. I never slept in the HH more than a couple nights in a row, so it's hard to say for sure. I feel like the crinkle taffeta has zero give, which leads to a stiffer lay. The result is I wake up at least once during the night feeling stiff. It's quite hard to roll onto my side or really stretch out. Maybe the 11' hammock is too long for the room. I had a 9' ridge line attached, but it just sagged. I'm not exactly sure how wide the room is, maybe 17-18'. My anchors are screwed into the 2x4 that runs horizontal across the top of the wall.
