    Exped Hammocks

I found yet another hammock maker. These people are in Switzerland. And their hammocks and netting are really a take off from what you DIY'ers are turning out.

If it helps here is a direct link to the hammock. http://www.exped.com/exped/web/exped...f?OpenDatabase

It probibly would be easier if we spoke the language. Good to see more manufactors out there and hopefully more hammockers.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

there`s an "english" option if you're a little rusty on your dutch<g>.
i was thinking they used to make a hammock/DAM made as one unit, but i didn't see it.
when i had looked at it before, it seemed way to heavy, but it's an interesting concept.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

It is German. I didn't even try the English part until after I found the hammock. I do speak a bit of German though.
    The english version is here.

they made a hammock/airmattress as one unit but as far as I know they never went the extra step of putting down in the airmattress. Exped called it a Hammat and I think its no longer available since it appears to have fallen off Exped's website and catalog.

Is the company the same company that makes the Exped DAM? I thought that Exped was part of Outdoor Research.

yep, they make the exped DAM.
it's very possible that they & OR are one in the same. i believe several of the companies that have been around awhile have merged/been bought out.
