Calling Aussie hangers- where's your favourite place to 'hang out'?

Now that I have completed three hammocks so my family can share the fun, I am ready to make the conversion from ground dweller. I have previously enjoyed the remote bush walking and camping in the Lamington/Binnaburra area south west of the Brisbane. I would like to revisit it again, this time with my hammock. What about our Aussie members of HF and those that have visited here, what are your favourite places to hang for a few days?

I reckon that would be an excellent place to take the family. It has amenities and the rainforest is beautiful. The only possible drawback could be crowds. There's a few parks just a bit further south in NNSW, Minyon Falls has a camping area that is peaceful away from holiday time.

Yes Lamington can be over-loved but I prefer to enter via the Kyogle border gate and follow the border east . Aussiebushman and ofuros you both have mentioned some places I'll have to check out.

No worries Hotboy....if your chasing off track walks, most of my trip reports have been off track.
They tend to be ridgeline adventures because i love taking scenic photos at dawn & dusk,
plus looking out of my hammock to an awakening valley is just good for words.
