Blackbird on Crow Pass, No trees!

So I just recently moved up to Alaska and the weather has been ridiculously nice. It's gotten me planning many hikes, one of which is the famed Crow Pass trail. It used to be part of the Iditarod. Anyways, I'm wanting to break it into a two night trail and the first camp spot has little if any trees. What's the best way to set up the blackbird sans trees? I looked at the handy hammock as it looks packable, but probably won't get it in time. Backpack friendly is a must. Thanes everyone!

If you expect to have to go to ground, bring a pad and two trekking poles. Then you can lay on your pad, use your quilts, and set your tarp over up using your poles. If you are lucky enough to be able to find two trees close enough together everything you have will work while hanging as well.

I have successfully hung from rock face and large boulders by either using small wire chocks or enough line to wrap around the boulder.
