Post Argon Down TQ, Argon Down Full Length UQ, Ripstop Down Torso Length UQ

Okay, so I'm selling two DIY underquilts and a custom size underquilts.com TQ that I stuffed with down and finished up. I have ambitions to do some longer distance hiking, but we are now moving soon and trying to downsize for the near future.

Prices are shipped to your door. As always, the first "I'll take it" is king.

    1. Underquilts.com "Barnaby" Top Quilt
I purchased this last fall here in the FS/FT forum as a custom sized shell (un-filled). It was described as 80" x 55" (wider and longer than standard) - I just measured the filled quilt and it while the 55" width is spot on, it seems more like 74" finished length (probably due to the curve of the baffles). It's made of dutch's argon taffeta so it's very light, and very soft/comfy, and very compressible.

So, here are the detailed specs:
    • 74" x 55"
    • Hunter Green .67oz/yd2 Argon Taffeta
    • Overall weight: 21.0oz/595g
    • Estimated Temperature rating: 3-season, ~20 degrees F – obviously this is heavily dependent on the individual.
    • Weight of shell only: 196g/6.91oz (this is before adding down, stitching the side & foot-box, and adding the shock cord and mini-cord lock.
    • (16) “Horizontal” baffles, 2-2.5” height
    • 800 FP down (used brand new European white goose down)
    • Down Fill weight: ~12.8oz (~.8oz per chamber x 16 chambers)
    • Measured avg. loft: 2.5” - 2.75” single layer laid out flat
    • Sewn foot-box 19” up from the bottom.
    • Sewn-channel at foot end with mini-cord lock and 1/8” shock cord (enough to lay the foot end out as flat as it will go with sewn-footbox.)
    • Completed the DIY stuffing and sewing the footbox, foot channel, and final side edge in early Jan. I've set it up in the backyard once, and used it (car) camping for one night. It was plenty warm. Very good condition, maybe a few crooked stitches on the footbox
    • Smoke free and pet free home, never compressed.
    • Price drop to $200

    2. Full Length DIY Argon Underquilt

    Details:
    • 73” L x 48” W
    • Hunter Green .67oz/yd2 Argon Taffeta top, Black Argon Taffeta bottom
    • Overall weight: ~17.8oz/505g
    • Estimated Temp: 3-season/20 degrees F (obviously subject to individual variations)
    • Baffle material: Dutch's pre-cut 2.5” baffle no-see-um material
    • (6) Length-wise baffles, ~2” height, maximum height 2.85” (using differential cut)
    • Differential cut (used CatSplat's Differential cut Underquilt Calculator)
    • Inner shell dimension 75” x 51”
    • Outer shell dimension 75” x 59”
    • 800 FP down (used brand new European white goose down)
    • Fill weight: 11.57oz (~1.93oz per chamber)
    • (4) 3/8” gross-grain loops on each corner
    • 1/8” Shock cord capped with mini cord locks through head and foot-end sewn-channels w/mini cord-locks (you can thread whatever suspension you wish through these channels, and/or off of the gross-gain loops located on the four corners of the quilt)
    • Completed in early Jan, tested in backyard during an afternoon, used on one overnight car camping hang. Very warm.
    • Smoke free and pet free home, never compressed.
    • Just a minor disclaimer: This is a DIY quilt, as such, there may be a few crooked stitches or other minor imperfections. My mother helped sew these and she has 25+ years of experience sewing, so they turned out very well in my opinion, but if you need perfection please purchase from one of the many great cottage vendors.
    • Price drop to $180

    3. Torso Length DIY Ripstop Underquilt

    • Same as the other quilts, this was Completed in early Jan, tested in backyard during an afternoon, used on one overnight car camping hang. I slept very warm with a 32F Ozark Trail sleeping bag as a TQ with this torso UQ.
    • Smoke free and pet free home, never compressed.
    • Just a minor disclaimer: This is a DIY quilt, as such, there may be a few crooked stitches or other minor imperfections. If you have any Questions please feel free to ask either in PM or reply.
I'm also downsizing with clothing (merino, down jackets, etc) and a couple packs which I will post in the next day or two. I could definitely combine shipping to save everyone money.

Wow these are all so tempting.

Does the TQ have any attachment point around the shoulder area?

Gator, no attatchment points currently, but I believe the hem is wide enough to certainly add something like that.

is it still possible to convert the fb? I understand the benefits of a sewn fb but figure on using mine as a quilt to sometimes. Is it still possible to pull the stiches on the fb without killing the quilt?

miyanc, I looked at the stitching and it would certainly be possible to rip out the footbox. You'd just have to sew a simple seam to re-seal the edge of the quilt and then attach snaps.
