So I previously asked about sleeping bag to UQ conversions, but I have a slightly different question this time, and might get higher quality and more responses if I start a new thread.
So I found that if I zip up my bag, and undo the bottom section, so that I just have a cylinder, I could run a line through that and hook it up to my suspension to make an UQ. It works really well, but it's a tad too narrow. What if I extend the diameter of that cylinder by either sewing in a piece of fabric between the two edges that I normally zip together, or by using grosgrain straps in the same manner (so it's just a bigger cylinder, hence a wider UQ).
Any thoughts on whether this will work?
