So the title is a bit of a play on a terrible t.v. show, but describes the conditions in my new backyard.
Only one tree around, nothing else but grass. What is a guy suppose to do?
I need some low cost, easy solutions to enable me to setup my hammock in the backyard.
Any takers?

Low cost and easy.... Plant an acorn and wait a few years.
Personally I would consider setting a 4x6 for the second support.

Get a 4x6 or 6x8 post and a couple bags of quick Crete less than 50.00 and a hour or 2 work and day to let it settle
I carry a bipod just for such situations. I made 50' ratchet strap to use as a back stay...with that much length, I can usually find something to hook on to.
