    Hello from New Mexico

    Hello everyone,
I have so much to learn and so many questions to ask..
I'm from New Mexico where I love to fly fish and hike..

I found this forum when I started to watch a youtube channel to learn about hammock camping.
A really funny, nice guy by the name of Shug was the guy on that channel, so here I am.

    Hope to meet you all...

"Enchanted" to meet you and welcome to the forums from Florida. I believe hammocks and fly fishing go together well.

    Thanks Mad777!

Fly Fishing and Hammocks are a must..lol.. I love FF I've been guiding and teaching FF for a better part of my life. Only recently I've been learning about hammock camping. I just don't know why it took me so long to figure out that FF and Hammocks go together. lol.. I love to hike, but it's all been on the ground. Once I got into a hammock I never looked back.. My back is much happier to... I hope to learn much by being on this forum...

Welcome aboard the mad train from Pecos, outside of Santa Fe. Unless you live in the south, if you fly fish, you know Pecos!

===> Welcome to the trees from Massachusetts! Fly Fishing (all types, even ocean!) and hammocking definitely are a great marriage! Was a Flycasting and tying instructor for LL Bean for 5 years, and currently still a certified Master Instructor for the MA Dept of Fish and Game Angler Education Program.

Hammocks have allowed me access to many places to fish that a tent wouldn't, and it is far easier to hike with!

If you ever get to New England, give a shout, and we'll go hang and flog some water together!🐡🐟😄
