    Hammock choices........hmmmm

    Hi guy's and gals.....

I'm in the market for a new hammock and have narrowed it down (thanks to you lot), to the WBBB XLC including weather shield, and the DHTB, now all I need is some feedback with pro's and con's of both I can't find many on here so if there is anything really annoying about any of these hammocks let me know...

My old hammock (now deceased) was a HH ultralight asym zip........it is deceased because i kept waking up with a dead leg.....so laying flat with a nice ole foot box sounds like the go.

I have pretty much settled on the WB Mamajama tarp for either hammock, I like to keep things lightweight so when it's going to be good weather I will just take the weather shield.

Just like to say a shout out to Shugemery hahaha your youtube clips are fantastic and very helpful and also quite hilarious.

I haven't tried WBBBxlc, but I have 2 dreamhammocks (thunderbird and darien) and have seen no issues. Papasmurf, and Mamasmurf, make excellent hammocks that you can basically custom design with them to what you want. any and all questions are answered within 24hrs (email to email) and just look at the detail of their website. if they put that much care into the website, options for hammock and feedback, their hammocks I found are even better. I am 6',220lbs and have an 11' in both hammocks. I side sleep as well as on my back and have never had a problem being comfortable. My girlfriend has her own thunderbird now too.

I tell you what.. I have been in contact with Randy over at DH several times, changing my order in the four week lead time they have and he has been more than helpful every single time. It's worth it to me to be able to customize it exactly how I want it, even going so far as to send dutchware to him to attach to it when he's done with it before sending it on to me.

My TB will be made next week and I'm 100% excited to get it.

I have a 10' Dangerbird, Roaming Gnome and a Warbonnet BlackBird. I personally have less calf pressure issues in the the dream hammocks. I have not tried the eleven footers yet. The gear shelf that the Warbonnet Blackbird has definitely blocks the views from that side of the hammock, better view from dream hammocks.
