I didnt want to buy a summer top quilt, so I made this. Cost about $15 in materials and 1.5hrs of time. The footbox opens a little to vent if needed, and it all stuffs into my WWM stuff sack. (I keep the WWM and NanoBuginator in the sack the NB came in). In the stuff sack, it weighs about 13oz.

I think it looks great. You are going to be really happy.
At full size, they aren't light compared to a much warmer quilt. However, at milder temps you can't beat 'em - you can pull it over your head if temps dip unexpectedly.
What dimensions did you cut it to? Your final weight is great.
It is 50" wide at the top. Footbox started at 42" wide. 74" long. Footbox is sewn up 24".
