    Is there a trick???

JUst got the Mt washington UQ, attached it. But what i have found is that using it with a HH and it does not have the bottem slit, you have to push it to the side to get in and then it is cocked to one side. The only way I have found to try to correct that is grab the low side and pull and squirm around to even it out.
Am i doing something wrong or is there a better way?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Some folks have modified their HH's to have a zipper for the bugnetting, and that would make it easier for you to adjust the underquilt. Otherwise, it's squirm and pull afaik.

The good news is that the Mt. Washington is an exceptionally good choice for an underquilt. Its design allows a good, snug, efficient fit. The bad news is that it's a real pain to do anything on the outside of the Hennessey hammock, like adjust an underquilt, from inside the hammock. Since your investment thus far indicates you are serious about hanging, I'd recommend you proceed directly to 2Questions for his zipper mods. It makes it easy to make sure your underquilt is in its proper place, or to put it there if it's not.

I've had good luck with a Hennessy hammock and the Warbonnet synthetic UQ, the heavy shockcord along the edges of the UQ can be positioned "through" the fabric. Once it is positioned, it stays in place. I assume the new Yetis would work similarly.

    Downes911, et al,

If you use HH side tie outs thru the MW side ladder loops... The MWs, or any JRB UQ for that matter, will return to the proper position automatically when you pull in your legs.
