What Temp Do You Use Your Top Cover/Sock?

This will be my second hammocking trip. The lows are expected to be in the mid to high 30s. I purchased a Winter Top Cover with my BB XLC. I wasn't sure if the expected temps call for using the cover. If so, tell me about any condensation issues I might run into.

I used the total cover(sock) he sells with the regular Blackbird in the temps you are talking and I had no condensation issues.
It was very breezy and and on and off rain that night, I kept it totally zipped up and was protected from the wind and stayed nice and warm, if I was worried about condensation I would leave the zipper open a little by my mouth area, but with the wind that night I had no worries about condensation forming.

wondering same thing, so im acquiring a WB multi cam sock and my thoughts are (please some1 correct me) if I set up a t#*t and the temps are in the 70s I prob would leave all the windows zipped, so would I get to warm using a sock in that temp rang instead of a netted hammock??

I use my breathable cover all the time except hot summer nights.
Spring Fall and Winter its used. I usuall leave a good sized vent
    for condensation even in winter.

I also keep a top cover on all year. Fleece in the colder months, breathable DWR for the summer. My covers slide under the ridge line and can be pulled along from wide open to almost fully closed. The main benefit is that I usually leave the summer cover open until pre-dawn when the air flow does its katabatic inversion and the cold drops down. Temps can drop a lot when this happens at altitude and head toward the dew point.
