Need help IDing this rope/cord

I picked this up a little while back because it looked like a decent deal on some utility rope. As I looked at it a little more closely lately, it appears to share some similar characteristics to the Amsteel stuff. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find any rating info on it anywhere, which limits it to no significant loads and utility only. Has anyone seen or heard of this stuff before?

I don't know anything about that cord. It looks like a braided cord, but not so much like a hollow braid. Try to google rope braid types and figure out what type it is. You can at least figure out your splicing options that way.
