Why do some hammocks have guy lines and how/when are they used.
I'm not completely stupid, just "Nucking Futz"
I've used them to open up the hammock a bit. It helps keep the netting off your face and whatnot.
If you ain't havin' fun, you're doin' it wrong
Also keeps the hammock from turning into a sail when its windy
In the case of the WBBB it keeps the shelf up and prevents its contents from bumping into you.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
