I recommend using the search function on this site and enter "superfly"- you should get lots of good info on that tarp that way. It is a popular tarp. Take care.

Good if it meets your needs

I am very happy with my WB super fly tarp. You should consider what your requirements are before selecting a tarp; there are pros and cons to every type of fabric, shape, suspension, ground stakes, and other accessories that go with it. Not really complicated but all the "tarp options" allow people to adapt to many different climates and settings etc. There have been some great discussions on all this over the past few years with lots of great photos, so if the HF search does not work as well as you like try google or bing, something like this for example (or only superfly):

    google.com site:hammockforums.net warbonnet+superfly

also go to the Warbonnet Forum of Hammockforums:
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...onnet-Hammocks

I don't want to discourage comments however. As much as people like me sometimes go on and on how great a WB "superfly" is there are also many disadvantages to SilNylon and the size, side panel pull outs that do not suit some people's needs. In a heavy rain you may get some misting, especially after it has aged some. Also it is not super light (cuben fiber) or super strong like a heavier material that would hold up better to 50+ mph winds. These are minor issues. Overall for me it is my #1 go to shelter, a great design that is well made.

Ditto! Especially the part about your needs based on use in climate, etc. My first night using a tarp was a $5 blue tarp that barely covered the ends of my hammock. But I draped it over the ridge line and I could slide it down so I could look at the sky and back when I fell asleep. It rained that night and I got a little wet on the sides but I loved the sound of the rain on the heavy tarp.

Now I have the Superfly and it gives me so many options depending on how I hang it. It is great in warm or cold weather. I love the flexibility as much as I like the simplicity of the cheap tarp. Personal preference is key.

I got one with my WBRR even though the Cloudburst was the recommended tarp because I wanted attached doors. I changed the pullout position to better match the RR using Dutch clip-on pullouts. You can see pix here: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...p-on-pull-outs

I did a lot of research before I bought my equipment and I have not seen a tarp that I think is better than the SF.
