    Whoopie / SnakeSkin question

First post here! I used the search function to see if someone else talk about this but without success. I have a Hennessy Expedition Asym with SnakeSkins. Yesterday I received a Whoopie slings setup from Arrowhead and I installed it without any issues. But now, I can't use the SnakeSkins because they cover the free end of the slings. Does someone had figure a way to use the skins with Whoopie slings? I can take pictures later today if it could help to understand what I mean.

    Thanks guys!

Nevermind, I just purchase Continuous loops at Dutchware. 1 red for port side & 1 green for starboard side, so I'll know which side my zipper is

For those who use continuous loops, do you put it right on the sling or it's better to use a carabiner or metal rings ?

    Thanks!

I always like an easy disconnect so biners if you have them. If the whoopies get wet you want to be able to remove them easily.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I guess that's what I'll do. I do have biners because when I bought the hammock I got them to use the original slings with descending rings.

I've never had a problem connecting whoopies directly to the hammock with a larks head.

I'm having a hard time understanding your original concern: Why do you need an extra continuous loop? Can't you just pull the whoopie and the free end all the way through the hole in the snake skin?

I'm having a hard time too - tons of people using snakeskins with whoopie slings.

Then there is something I'm doing wrong. It seems the free line is too close to the hammock, I can't bring the Skin that close... Here is pictures showing my slings

here's an Idea: have the tail of the whoopie sling coming out from the snakeskin closest to the hammock!

Looks attached correctly. Just scrunch the skin on down and pull the whoopie tail out so it's accessible. No need to add any more length, you won't hurt the skins having the scrunched.

The main reason for using a continuous loop is to make it possible to remove the whoopies if they get wet rather than stuffing them in your pack with things you may not want to get wet. Your carabiners or Dutch hooks would provide that option nicely.
