Solo One nighter this week end.

I've been trying to do a over night solo hike for years and always get flack from my family. They give me so much grief that I give up on it. So the other day I told them this coming week end is a long week end and I will be going into the woods for a night out. I live about three miles from the nearest woods so I said some one will have to give me a ride to the forest and drop me off and I was refused. So I guess I gotta walk. I'll let you know how I make out!

Well, at least it's only 3 miles, not 30!
Maybe once they see you can handle such hijinx, they will be more accommodating.

    Have fun!

Take the car. Park it in an obscure place while out. That way they'll understand to give you a ride next time.
