Hammock Hanger on the Great Eastern Trail

Sue is hiking from the FL/AL line, through AL and up to NY state. Mowgli posted an article about it here:

    http://americanhiking.chattablogs.co...es/047061.html

    And her TrailJournal is here:

    http://trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=160655

And she's hiked a bazillion miles so check out her other journals too.

I wish I had the time to hike that much. Good luck Hana.

Ditto, I'd be tickled pink to have the resources to do a section hike of the AT, half the trail each year for 2 yrs. Oh well, enjoy what I can when I can!

BD, don't feel alone, it's OK. I just found out about the Mountains-to-Sea Trail in NC a few weeks ago. I'd love to do that one!

Is there a comprehensive trail list somewhere online? If so, what is the URL? If not, maybe everyone could pull together and make a sticky list with links to trail info...

*That may be beyond the scope of this Forum, though*
