Hey my name is Josh. I am fairly new to hanging from they little bit of bushcrafting that I do. I have a new opportunity to do a lot more camping and we can all agree that sleeping on the ground sucks. I found this forum as an avenue for reference material for making my own gear. I have a grand trunk with some slightly modded suspension right now but it is a little worse for wear. I am working on putting plans together right now to make my own gear as both a cost saving thing and because I am 6'3" a tick over 300Lbs and I find that a lot of equipment store bought just isn't made for guys like me. I am also a YouTube junkie and have gleaned allot of info from there and thanks to shug and some other guys that has led me to here. I look forward to meeting allot of you guys and maybe even attending a hang somewhere around here some day soon.

Hello Josh! Been to OK and remember being there during the Cooney Foreman fight. Little town called "Vallient OK."
GREAT PLACE! Back then it was a tiny town. Hope not much has changed.
Remember being at a small diner across from a veterinarian office. When they called Foreman the winner you could hear a pin drop. Cooney definitely had it, no doubt. But if you're going to beat the champ you have to do it in a BIG way. Welcome OK to the best forum on the internet.

i started a few years back but I didnt get alot of chances to hang. maybe 1 or 2 nights a year now i am looking at a chance to do every weekend.
