    Tn>need at trip planning help

Me and two family members are planning a 4-night hike along the AT in the Smoky Mountains in June. We have reserved our shelters in the backcountry but need help as to where to leave our car and how to get to the start of our hike.

We will be ending our trip on the east side of the park. We thought we might could camp at Big Creek the first night, get transportation to where we are starting our hike, and then stay at Big Creek the last night. But we know there are hostels that might be a better option. We would like to hammock camp the night we arrive (before our hike) and the night we get back (after our hike). We have no idea about transportation options.

Does anyone have any ideas? TIA.

I will send you a PM. I'm not far from Big Creek. You need dumped off at Newfound?
