I know this is going to start a war between people but, I am new to buying hammocks and now that I have some money saved up I would like to buy one for summer and spring camping. I was wondering what would be the most economical but yet sturdy double nested hammock available. I am open to all suggestions I just didn't know where to start the search. Thank you!
Warbonnet & Dream hammock seem to be the most popular right now. Both have different offerings but are top notch in function and quality. Then there are the Jacks, BIAS, Clark, Hennessey, tree to tree, and hammeck to name a few others.
Head to your nearest group hang and check a few out before you buy if ya can.

I have used an eno singlenest for a few years now and have been fine but recently got a wilderness logics lite owl. The difference is substantial and the comfort level is vastly superior. I am content with the lite owl and no longer have the desire to buy hammocks just to try. I recommend spending what it takes to be comfortable. That said, I will echo the above advice about getting to a group hang and trying some out. Only you can decide what is best
But to answer your question about economical and sturdy, maybe a Yukon outfitters double? The only thing about economical is that you will most likely spend a lot to modify it and would be better buying an already equipped but more expensive hammock

I got into hammocks with a Trek Light double. I've tried a WBBB, WB Traveler, and a BIAS. None were as comfy for me as the TL double. Simple. Not expensive. Suits my needs. Back to square one.
