    Tying and clipping

DO you all clip your carabiners to your triangle rings? I have seen people clip then to this and I have seen people slide them into the space at the end of the line that wraps around the tree, and then clip it to the line after its around the tree. Which is right? Or is it preference?

Clipping to the tri-rings is incorrect. The intended use is for the biner to be in the loop of webbing that wraps around the tree, and then clips back on to the standing end of the webbing.

Hate to be the negative one, but I didn't like the tri rings right from the start. I removed mine and installed cinch buckles instead. The tri rings were hard to use compared with the cinch buckles, but I liked the lightweight of the tri rings. Mule
