    Snag in hammock

I have a small run in my wifes rr and Brandon suggests using 'tear aid' to fix it, he advised against sewing it, it is a small run/snag about 1 - 2 inch long on the outside layer of a db rtr, so getting to it with a sewing machine is out of the question, and since brandon said to try some type of adhesive product called tear aid , i thought i would ask if anyone had any experiance with that product or knew of a better solution.
It is a B eautiful hammock and i want to fix it fast so She can use it., if not , does anyone know where to get 'tear aid'??, ooops i accidently typed a r instead of a t in tear but luckly i caught it.

Any help would be GREATLY apreciated...........
