First night in the Blackbird XLC

Well guys, I finally found a hammock that I got right on the first try! This is my third hammock, the others being a black bird and an ENO Double. I never could get the blackbird 'right' for me. I'm a side sleeper and the calf ridge got me every time. The xlc on the other hand was AWESOME!! Hanging the feet higher than the head was another key.

I'm super pumped to find a hammock that feels right!

It took me to more nights to get it right with my UQ dialled in, but wow indeed. I looking forward to next week for my next trip with the XLC. I'm planning to sleep in late at least one morning just for the comfort of it.

yeah, getting the hammock dialed in was really easy for me. I was surprised how much easier it was than my original blackbird to get it to lay right. I get my underquilt in the mail on Monday, so hopefully that is an easy hang.

I started with a Blackbird. Loved it but the XLC is so much easier for me. I also love the different ways to use it. Topless is nice but that overcover when it is cold is priceless.
