Oh, great. You found my weight for my bearbag line. I wondered where I put it.

Yeah. It hit 104* F on the heat index here yesterday. Let me tell you just how much fun it was running five miles in that crap...

Hoping that we get weather like last year at this one...it wasn't unbearable...

It would be a great first out - with some of the BEST PEOPLE!!! While heat may be rough, it rained enough 2 years ago to cool things down, the overcast skies kept us from baking, AND the 'hidden pond' becomes a wonderful gathering place.

Yeah, it's probably too hot for the moccasins and gators to even bother with you.

Bigguy, come on down, or up from where you're at. The past few years, it's been great here. The nights are cool enough to be comfortable, but warm enough to not need an UQ.

4-5 am bring a slight chill. I use a light fleece blanket when cool enough and under my shoulders if I get a chill. Days are warm, but we're under a canopy that is open on the East (Hidden Pond) and West (Crooked Sapling Pond). It makes for a nice breeze most of the time.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
