For sale one very lightly used Ultralight Backpacker Asym. $170 including shipping in lower 48. hammock has only seen one night out and some lazing around inside the house. Smoke free house. Hammock is in perfect shape no tears, rips or stains of any kind.
One variable that I will leave up to buyer---The trap that I received with the hammock has extra silicone on one side that makes the fabric stick to itself. It dose not seem to collect dirt or anything else but the silicone wants to grip itself on that side. you can still pull the tarp open fully and this dose not seem to affect the tarp in any way functionally. I called Hennessy after getting the rig and they sent me a replacement.
So I have two tarps, the replacement is 1 OZ. lighter than the original. I weighed the kit when I received it and it was at spec. I am willing to send either tarp with the hammock, but would like to keep one. Your choice. I do believe that the heavier tarp (ie. more silicone) would have a higher hydrostatic resistance. but that is only a guess.
