Waking up with a sausage and hotdog hangover, we have our sights set on Moose Pond or Duck Hole lean-to for the night. Along the way we visit a couple of historic places in Adirondack history, grab some lunch and have a few laughs. Eventually we end up at....

Fantastic Rob. I just got back home from a quick trip to the adks and watched Part IV and V. Glad you enjoyed that section along the Cold River. Now you know why it is one of my favorites. Those artifacts you found at Duck Hole were cool. As DH begins to grow in, it will be a prime Moose spotting area.

Amen to that...we want to get back to the Cooold Riiivvveeerrrrr! Very neat, once we found the first we waded and searched, Ed found the rest. Planning on Benson to Piseco in a few weeks...if all goes well. I hope you had a great trip.

I am no hero. Just a fellow hanger on the trail who likes good food (and enjoys sharing it with others).

I think I am good to go for the Benson-Piseco section in a few weeks. Looking to include the new section or the original? Oh, I'll bring fresh sausage for the first night, and smoked for the next day.
