Im sure this info is on the forum somewhere, but I couldnt find it! Heres my question---how do you sew gosgain eding to the edge of a cat tarp? Is it just folded over and sewn to the tarp, is the tarp edge folded over first and then sewn with grosgain? Thanks for the help!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

I ran a light grosgrain ribbon down the edges of my DIY Blackcat tarp. I didn't do anything fancy except iron the ribbon in half for ease of handling. From there I butted the edge of the sil up to the fold and ran a stitch about an 1/8" from the edge of the ribbon. Has held strong for the last 5 years.
