Just got my order from Hammock Gear today and I have to say, these guys were great.
I ordered a Burrow top quilt (20-degree, short/wide) and Incubator under quilt (20-degrees, short.) Just for fun I asked if they could do more feminine colors, and they were able to special order purple, so I got a purple and light-gray combo. They're gorgeous! I paid a 2.5 ounce weight penalty for the style points (the purple fabric is slightly heavier than their usual fabric.) Worth it? I'm a bit of a gram weenie so this was a hard call, but style won, and I think it'll make me happy every time I use them to have purple (matches my ULA pack, too!)
Also got a cuben tarp. :-)
I placed this order 5/20/14 after a several-day email exchange with Jenny, who seemed happy to accommodate my request. It arrived 2 and a half weeks later and they even sent it by a faster method to make sure it would arrive by my trip date.
Fantastic, friendly service, and the products look great. Can't wait to try it out; I leave for a 6-night trip in a few days!
