Dyi hammock with built in big net

I am looking for instructions in a dyi hammock with a built in bug net. I was looking to build a 9x48 and was wondering want measurement the bug net should be?
I would also guess that I will need some kind of ridge line. Thanks in advance

I'm actually going to start on a similar project myself (my netting just arrived).

I'm planning on making my hammock first, getting the SRL dialed in, and then cutting the netting to fit. Good luck.

He has a tutorial on making the hammock budy as well. Great tips on the video. There are many ways to do it, I would suggest researching until you find the method that works for you and the level of sewing you feel capable of.

i highly recommend a structural ridgeline underneath the bug net. It makes set up sooooo much easier.

is there a ratio like for a 10 foot hammock you need a 9.5 foot bug net ect??
