    Cuben Asym Continuous Ridgeline Problem!!!!

I have a Z-Packs Cuben Asym tarp that I have been using with my end only tie outs. This week I have been experimenting with one of Dutch's continuos ridgelines at my local park. Here is the problem, when I attach the tarp to the priussics I get a nice tight ridgeline. As soon as I stake out the two sides nice and tight I have horrible sag in the middle of the ridgeline even though everything appears to be drum tight. As soon as the wind hit the tarp it pretty much collapsed, not what I want to experience in the back country. I was testing the ridgeline over the tarp. Any suggestions?

That was my conclusion as well. They are both wrapped 5 times just like when Dutch shipped them. Am I getting things to tight when I stake out the sides causing them to slip? Any ideas on how to stop this? Thanks!

grab the wrap ( where the loop goes around the ridgeline, not the loop itself) and pull back and forth aggresively to wear the slick coating off, that should help the prussik "bite" the main line

is it zingit or dynagyde? dynagyde has a very heavy coating and might take longer to make it stick.

I use the ridgeline under the tarp with cuben. Also 7/64" amsteel for ridgeline, both because the klemheist loops of zing-it hold better and also because my hammock hangs from Alpine butterfly knots in the amsteel. (Papa Smurf's new spliced continuous ridgeline looks like it would be good for this type of suspension, too; it should be stronger than one using the alpine butterfly knots.)
