Ok, mychal is in unless he gets hit by a bus. I booked site 9 for 6 and anybody is welcome to use the spots we don't. I'll be bringing at least 3 kids with me, and possibly 4 (my 7 year old didn't want to go, but I'm gonna leverage the fact that another 7 year old will be there).
Also, we can double or even triple up, just for fun, in my group, under a single tarp and one pair of trees, if it comes down to that. We'll plan to meet at the office and then be led like lemmings by The Experts.
Couple questions: 1) Is the idea that we'd set up camp after checking in, then go blueberry picking in the afternoon? 2) I vaguely remember having the greatest BBQ I've ever had in my life (a life full of BBQ) at some roadside joint my friends took me to in the 1990's. They seem to think they are all over the Pine Barrens. What are the odds I'll be able to re-create that event with my kids after we pack up Sunday and make it to our car?
#2 is a berry, berry, berry important question. Wait, now I'm mixing #1 and #2.
Chances are you are remembering the Pic-a-Lilli Inn, and yes, it's still around. If you are thinking of the Woodshed, no such luck.
The first "cultivated" blueberries are from this area. We will be picking low bush blueberries, the farms have high bush blueberries.
A little blueberry history.

I will confirm which nephews can make it. Might bring 3-4 of them if they don't have soccer/camp/party/beach or whatever.

Further research reveals that it was Uncle Dewey's BBQ Pavilion. I guess a 45 minute drive in my 20's probably seemed like 10 minutes.
well done sir! I plum forgot that one! and blueberry muffins, and blueberry scones...
Only 2 sites left in lower forge. Did someone grab site 1 or do we have company?
Someone should grab 3 so we don't walk through someone else's campsite to get water.
Just saying.

I'd suggest we grab 1, 2 & 3. We currently have the ability (via the reservation system) to have 6 people per site, with 4 through 9 currently reserved (for a total of 36 people). However, tree-wise we many need every tree in the campsite just to accommodate current numbers:
1. In - 12 people
njredneck - reserved site 4
Silvrsurfr - Reserved Site 5 for 3
Aircoder +1 - reserved site 6
Jshep420 +1 - reserved site 7 & 8
mychal +3 - reserved site 9 for 6
